John & Kristina

Kristina & John had their wedding ceremony as well as reception at the National Tropical Botanical Gardens in Poipu.
I couldn’t get over how stunning she looked in her couture dress, simply gorgeous, with a beautiful smile on all day!
After the visitors center garden ceremony the guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while the bridal party took picture by the Lotus Pond. The pink and white lotus flowers were  in full bloom and just lovely!
Then the bride and groom ventured deep into the gardens together for pictures at the natural waterfall.

All guests enjoyed a hula show during dinner, with everyone getting up and joining the dancers to show them some moves!DJ for dancing complete with lights, bubbles and fog. With a fire show as the grand finale! What a perfect day

Emily & Mike

Emily and Mike were married at Princeville on the North Shore of Kauai.

Most of their family were visiting from New York and were very happy to be able to enjoy a relaxing vacation in Hawaii for their destination wedding. The ceremony was held cliff side and the reception at the Princeville Golf Club House. You can see mount Makana , or ‘Bali Hai’ from the terrace. Mike was by Emily’s side in all aspects of planning. It was very clear to me that Emily’s happiness came first. He had the great idea of having a Bananas Foster Flambé Station for dessert. Yum! Pretty much all of their ninety guests hit the dance floor, and they had some moves! It was almost sad for me to have their day come because the fun of planning with them was over.Wedding archBride - emilyBlack and White Kiss Read the rest of this entry »

Renae & Heath

What a beautiful sunset wedding Renae and Heath had with a spectacular view of Bali Hai!.

They had an intimate beach ceremony on Kauai with close family and friends visiting all of the way from Australia.I have to say I really don’t know what it is about Australia that makes the people from there so cool, laid back and fun loving! There must be something in the water!

Renae’s son Sam was and front center for the ceremony, not missing a word. They exchanged leis , did the water sharing Hawaiian ceremony with minister  Kelvin Ho and enjoyed a stroll down what lucky enough turned into being a  private beach for pictures. The conch shell blower was a fun touch, and after the ceremony Sam got to try blowing the shell too.

This beach is ‘Pu’uPoa’ also called Princeville beach by most is such a great beach for weddings. Very accessible through The Hanalei Bay Resort, St. Regis or many public access stairs.

They had their wedding reception at the St Regis on the terrace. We hired the Nostalgic Hawaiian musicians for the cocktail hour.   Yummy cup cakes instead of a wedding cake and the white phalaenopsis orchid centerpieces, which I just loved!
